​"Turnup" is a commonly used colloquialism to express excitement for an evening of fun. Currently in Philadelphia, 66% of those in prison are incarcerated simply because they cannot afford their bail. Circle Mobilizing uses TurnUp as a fun opportunity to raise awareness of and challenge the injustice of the cash bail system while enjoying the work of local Black artists and business people.
